CHILDREN’S CHOIR STARTING IN JANUARY

In January a children’s choir will be starting. Here is some  info for you!

1) Leaders of the choir will be Anna Mantere and Ilona Tiira. Either one will be directing the choir rehearsals.

2)  Rehearsals will take place in Annankatu 7 second floor. We start sharp 13 and have only one hour time slot to sing. We ask you not to be late as every person running late disturbs.

3) Make sure your child is not hungry or having low bloodsugar. Singing is physically very demanding. You can have a packed lunch and eat it before practice to make sure the child has energy enough to sing.

4) Choir has a practice every two weeks. If the child misses one practice it means there is a month´s gap in between  try to make sure not to miss any of the following practices: 17.1. / 31.1. / 14.2. / 28.2. / 14.3. / 21.3. / 11.4. / 25.4. We will also have a concert on 9.5., but probably in the evening. Mark these days in your calender.

5) We welcome all children aged 7+ to the choir. Younger kids need to wait till they are of age.

6) Choir is free of charge but we ask you to commit to coming to practices.
